Elephant Narritive

On a cold New Years eve, Jimmy and Daisy couldn't wait to wake up. So they decide to do all nighters. Telling scary stories, and eating Pop corn they noticed that the clock hit 12 o’clock, “ Happy New Years “ Mum and Dad shouted. As they were laying in there bed they remembered that they still haven't opened their present, So they ran to the Christmas Tree.

Jimmy opened his present first, He got a Pair of Expensive Sneakers, Candy, Clothes and he got a toy Elephant, that was pretty odd, Thinking of what to do with the Elephant he noticed that it was moving, So he throw it up onto the Electric line.

Walking back inside it was time for Daisy to open her Present, In her gift she got a Pair of Clean Boots, Clothes, and Accessories. Right at the bottom of her gift she noticed that there was a letter in the letter it said. “ Dear Jimmy and Daisy, Please take good care of my Elephant” From Aunty Brook.

“ Ohh Ohh” I think that we just throw Aunties Elephant up onto the Electric Line. Trying and Trying they Managed to get the Fire Engine to get the Elephant down. “Hello my dear Darlings” said Brook “Um Hi Aunty” “So where is my little Elephant” “ Um Aunty we got it stuck in the wire line” “ Oh its okay” said Brook.

In the end they managed to get the elephant down, By calling the fire truck.

The Birthday Pillow

The Birthday Pillow.

Main Characters: Aiani - Is a young girl who cares about other people. And tonight is her Nena Birthday, as she lays down to sleep she can’t go sleep as she is thinking out what to give her Nena. Fane - Is Aiani’s cousin and she is helping Aiani to make Nena her Birthday Pillow, out of Kapok.

Setting: The setting is base in Niue, and there are lots of Nature around where they live, There is a Tree called Kapok

Orientation: Aiani’s Holiday is nearly over and it nearly time to go back home,

Problem: But something is bothering her. Tomorrow is her Nana's Birthday and she doesn't know what to give her.

Action: In the Morning Aiani wakes up early and Walks across to her cousins house Fane to ask if she has any Ideals. As she was walking to her cousins house Fane came out and lead her to a Tree with white Buds on it. “ See this tree ” said Fane “ Yes ” said Aiani. What do we do with is she asked “ We pick it up ” said Fane.

Outcome: As Aiani was picking up the buds she asked what they were going to do with it “ We are going to make A pillow out of it ” as Fane was sewing the pillow Aiani herd nena telling her to come and Eat. Walking slowly into she said Happy Birthday Nena and she gave her the Pillow

Getting Ready For Fia FIa

As you all know Pt England school is having their FIA FIA night next week. And the Hawaiian group are very lucky to have three special teachers who are Mrs Kirkwood, Miss Ouano and Miss Edie, that help us Improve in our movements.

The song that we are dancing to is He Mele No Lilo, it is a Animated series from the program Lilo and Stitch. The song includes words from the beautiful land of Hawaii. My favourite part of the dance is the Apple Catch.

Sometimes through the dance our little girls get lost, but most of the times

they are able to work without needing help. Just mentioning this I am not a

Saving Poormans Stream.

When

Mitchell will always past by the Stream by there house he will always notice that there is a lot of rubbish around it, So he decide to do something about it. Mitchell was part of a local group that was developing a Care code for the stream. The group includes Teachers, Children and people who are interested.

At first Mitchell was the only kid but after a while more kids started joining. One afternoon, the Local Group formed a group and they were ready to pick up rubbish, As they were picking up the rubbish they noticed that it was all clean, But,

Mitchell was disappointed after the clean up because after a few days he came back to do the same job!

Comparing different water samples and discovering the Colour and the Smell of it.

For this activity we needed Four buckets and a jug to collect the water.

Sea water would smell.	Yucky, Smelly and SaltWater Fishy.	And it tured out to smell like Saltwater and Fish.
Tap water	Fresh and Clean.	And it was. It was clear and fresh and I felt like Drinking it.

Not Clear at all ,  Can’t see anything.

My conclusion (what I found out):

I was really surprised to find out that the water sample that we took from Omaru Creek, near the culvert change overnight. When we first went there the water was really really dirty, but when we came back for more it became a bit more cleaner.
