CyberSmarts Reflection - W9T3

The term is slowly coming to and end, and so is our CyberSmarts session. During the 9 weeks of having Cybersmart session, it has taught not only myself but my fellow friends a lot of values and things in order to be safe online. Being CyberSmart is and very important value that should be taught in everyone's life. One thing that I have learn't from Miss Kyla, is the importance of keeping private things private, and that number/emails/full names, shouldn't be shared online.

Cyber Smarts

Today for Maths we had Miss Kyla for the first half of the session. We talked about the many positive things about having a Mobile Phone, the Walt was to understand our rights and responsibilities with the use of mobile phones. 

Below was our task and Questions.

Make connections to student prior knowledge re: mobile phones:

Who has a mobile phone?

What is useful about having a mobile phone?

What information do you keep on your mobile phone? E.g. contacts, notes, photos, videos.

Smart Surfing - Ms Kyla

Today for maths, we had Ms Kyla in to learn about Smart Surfing. We were given the task to find information using key words. In the presentation above, we were give 10 question where we had the find the key words in searching.

Today in maths we had Miss Kyla in for the first half of the session. This weeks session was on cyber smart, and how everything online can be seen by everyone everywhere. Our hands on, project was to create a DLO, that explained one of the key things we picked up from a video we watched. Above is the poster I made.

Cyber Smart Values.

On Wednesday our Maths group are privileged to have the lovely Miss Kyla in our block and teach us about what Cyber smarts is! Last week we viewed a video about the Spaghetti Farm, we realized that the movie was a whole lie.

 This week we had the task to create a drawing with the 3'Ps as a online value, in each column it states how we can Participate, how we can Partnership and protect other online! Above is what we all came up with!

Cyber Smarts - Maths

Today in class for maths, Miss Kyla came and took a Cyber Smarts lesson. We Learn't that most things on social media isn't true it may be false. We watched a video which was based back in the 80's about Spaghetti, in the beginning I stated that the Video is true, but as the video went further more into the story, I was false. The Video was false.
