Duffy theatre .

On Wednesday Room 14 went to the Duffy theatre . The Duffy theatre was about reading the best book in the world and also teaching you little sibling's to read . My Favourite part of the play was when Scruffy was dressed up as Emmy . In the play my Favourite characters was : Emmy , Wiremu . . .  In the play the main message was to always read and if you read you will become a Duffy Kid … The play was really awesome . . . .

Uniform

What was the problem and how did you decide to fix it?
The problem was that in winter it was very cold so we decided to fix it by making a winter uniform. One of our designs are a shirt with Velcro in it. It comes with selves and that also has Velcro inside it too. So it can be stuck together when you’re too cold. But if you’re too hot you are able to pull the sleeves off.
We are planning to use cotton for this design. Because the soft, fluffy staple fibre is very warm so our winter clothing is going to be made out of it.
We’ve also decided to make a rain coat for rainy days but they are only for seniors. Same for the first design. The rain coat is going to be made from water proof Nylon has to be treated with a waterproofing agent, then it won't let water in through the fabric.


Why did you choose the design that you did?
We chose this design because it would be helpful with its warmness and the Nylon will help with its waterproof powers.

What makes your new design better than before?
Our school has track pants but we decided to make it better by having zips so when it is a hot day and you are wearing track pants you can unzip it and we can put the in our bag or desk.

My resort

Pt . England School Resort
Arriving at this magical land, I quickly ran to my room. As I was in my room lying down in my bed I was served breakfast.

The first activity I did was going kayaking . As I jumped in the boat, I slipped out of the boat and SPLASH, I fell in. While I was in the water my tummy rumbled, so I ran as fast as I could to get to my room to get dry. My lunch was served. I had corn chip and dips. When I had finished my lunch, I went to sleep .

Tornado at aumimi north shour

Yesterday there was a Tornado at Albany North shore . It was really noise it sounded like a jet-engine descending and thunderous a tremendous . As it sated to commented with the hot air and then the cold air decided chase the hot air so all the chasing made a tornado and it mad cars and house twist and some House even got riped a part as the tornado came down to the ground . As it hit ed the ground every one stared to panic . The tornado was very terrifying because they had no noticed that the tornado was going to come to were they live . It was very sad .
