Ms Va’afusuaga is taking the Year 7 & 8 students to a rugby tournament at Pt England Reserve Park. She has decided to take 15 teams. 5 Girls teams and 10 Boys teams. If she has 390 players. How many students does she have in each them?

Zeal Zone - Art

Today in our Zeal Zone groups, we were given the task to create a symbol other then a poppy as a remembrance accessory for Anzac. As you can see in the image above, I have created a Dove and along back side of the Dove, is the New Zealand Fern.

I decided to use these two images for the following reasons : 

1 . The Dove, represents peace. It symbolise when the war finally came to an end and all countries had peace at last.

2 . New Zealand Fern, the fern represents New Zealand and the fact that they went to war and fought for our country.

Maths Hexagons - Task 1 Term 2

1. While preparing for our ANZAC memorial we needed Dirt to fill the boxed pit outside. 3 small truckloads of Dirt only filled and eighth of the pit. How many truckloads were needed to completely fill the pit?
